High Intensity Power Pilates developed by Lisa Bradshaw, is a new concept class designed to increase your heartrate and challenge your overall functionality, strength and stamina. This 50 minute class is not designed to replace the excellent work the classical Pilates offers, but complement it.
It will get you up off the mat, in order to work your global muscles and use the body more functionally. The exercises are more dynamic and faster paced.
This class is very challenging and only suitable if you have a good knowledge of Pilates. You will need to use your Pilates technique throughout.
Hand weights are used throughout the class which I supply.
HIP Pilates classes are run as a drop in so you can book via MindBody or just come along.
They are at the Holy Trinty Church Hall in Claygate, 9am and cost £12 per class.
